This week the April 18 meeting of the Newport Center Toastmasters Club was moved temporarily to 620 Newport Center Drive and the cooperation of some members made it a meeting to remember and enjoy. It was attended by 22 members and five guests: Michael (2nd visit), Ray, Suzanne, Haley, Sandy (all 1st visit).

- For the upcoming Installation of officers on July 10, Mark had dinner at the previously suggested restaurants: Garlic Joe’s on PCH. He found the food was very good. The room will accommodate no more than 30. Christi went to Kitiyama on Bristol and the room has the same capacity. Michael has another restaurant he will investigate. More discussions later.

- Les that the laptop needs to be replaced. After discussion the club voted to have Carl look at a new replacement.
